Akram is a dentist who graduated from Sana'a University - Yemen. He moved to Japan in 2013 to pursue his post-graduate studies, where he researched stem cells and bioengineering, receiving his Ph.D. in 2018. During his stay in Japan, Akram found his passion for digital content creation, from photography to videography and virtual tour creation; he considers digital creation more than a hobby, incorporating it into his work. Science communication plays a significant role in his career, and it allows him to use his digital media skills to find new ways to make science-explaining materials that are easy to understand and fun to consume.
